Luke McCormick, Swindon Town

Luke McCormick’s career began with stints at Truro Town and Oxford United before he joined Plymouth Argyle in May 2013. During the 2013-14 season he quickly became the club’s first choice goalkeeper but was injured in February 2014 and missed the rest of that season.

At the start of the 2014-15 season Luke was handed the role of club captain. The season was a strong one for McCormick, starting all 53 league and club matches with 22 clean sheets among them. As a result he was named Argyle’s Player of the Year at the end of the season.

After a notable career at Plymouth, Luke left the club at the end of the 2017-18 season. He signed a one year contract at Swindon Town in July 2018 after a successful trial at the club.
