In January 2023 Ryan joined Crawley Town FC on a season long loan from Huddersfield Town.

Ryan Schofield’s is an English keeper and after impressive performances has become Huddersfield Town’s first choice goalkeeper in the 2020/21 season.

Huddersfield lad Ryan, who joined the Club from junior side Lepton Highlanders as an eight-year-old, worked his way through the Academy age groups whilst earning England caps up to U20 level, making his U18’s England debut in an impressive 4-0 win v Qatar and keeping a clean sheet in the 2017 Toulon Tournament, helping England win the prestigious competition.

Ryan gained senior experience through loan spells at FC United of Manchester, AFC Telford United, Notts County and Livingston, and made his Town debut in a Carabao Cup game against Lincoln City in August 2019.

The 2020/21 campaign has been Ryan’s breakthrough and has kept four clean sheets in his first six Championship appearances.

In July 2017 Ryan was rewarded for his hard work with a call up to the first team squad following a number of impressive performances and was handed the number 31 shirt.
